Systems
Systems Analyst Margie Sennett uses computers, not a paintbrush. But she’s always making sure she isn’t painting herself into a corner.
“Putting options on the table, that’s what you want to do,” Margie said. “But if a business partner wants something fast with a lower cost, I’ve also got to look ahead and make sure we plan for long-term options.”
Projects and services that make things easier for customers, agents, and employees is the goal in Systems. Not that making things easier is always easy.
“We work to always be aware of our business. We understand that need – we welcome it.”
– Margie Sennett, Systems Analyst
When their business partners in Fire and Auto realized their systems needed an upgrade, it was up to people like Margie to provide a solution. In 2007, work continued on merging these two systems into a single unit which will give us a more agile, cost-effective, and customer-friendly system.
Today, making the best use of technology is the difference between winning and losing. If you boost production and become more efficient while balancing cost, you win.
“That’s the challenge,” said Margie. “But that’s what we do in IT – benefit the customers and stay ahead of the competition.”
And out of the corners.
