2007 & Beyond

Claims continues to look for ways to best serve our customers. Beginning in 2007 and into 2008:

  • A contents inventory process will provide customers with the ability to input their damaged or stolen personal property items electronically online.
  • A customer test will look at new ways for e-mail communication between claims and customers.
  • Catastrophe Services will conduct a proof-of-concept pilot on providing pre-paid Visa debit cards to our customers for use in emergency situations.
  • We will introduce the Catastrophe Outbound Dialer, a message-only system with the ability to contact policyholders within 24 hours of receiving a claim. The tool will confirm that we’ve received the claim and provide preliminary information to the customer.
