State Farm Bank® – Bank Response Center (BRC)

BRC representatives play a key role in providing basic services to State Farm Bank customers over the phone, with the support of Company computer systems. The position includes written and verbal communication with State Farm Bank customers, agents, and employees. Representatives handle balance and interest rate inquiries, general account services, and new account opening. They also provide information on State Farm Bank products and procedures.

Customer Response Center (CRC)

State Farm’s Customer Response Center helps State Farm agents meet customer expectations 24 hours a day, seven days a week. CRC was created in 1997 and currently serves customers in the United States and Canada.

As an extension of the agent’s office, CRC is staffed with professional, well-trained employees whose primary focus is to provide a personal touch and a positive customer experience. The CRC is able to efficiently assist customers with many transactions, including initiating newly reported claims, taking premium payments, and resetting statefarm.com® passwords.

For needs that require agent handling, CRC representatives provide comfort or reassurance to customers and gather information to assist the agent.

Quote and Bind

Quote and Bind is an inbound call center formed in 2005 to serve existing and potential customers, as well as State Farm agents. The operation is designed to quote and bind auto insurance for customers who call State Farm outside customary agent office hours. The primary focus is on selling State Farm auto policies, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Employees new to the department are licensed and trained to sell and write quality auto business.

Insurance Support Center (ISC)

The Insurance Support Center (ISC) consists of four departments at each ISC location. Each department handles a multitude of functions, all of which allow State Farm to deliver quality service to our policyholders.

Support Center
The Support Center functions as a technical solution center that provides support to more than 100,000 State Farm associates located in operations centers, claim offices, agents' offices, agency field offices, CRCs, Corporate Headquarters, and the three ISC sites.

Data Center
The Data Center's primary services include maintaining system availability for access to policyholder, accounting, and employee data residing on mainframe and server systems. It also handles batch processing and ad hoc programming services for State Farm Zones.

Payment Center
The Payment Center receives and processes premium payments; banks money received, and updates policy records.

Printing, Inserting, and Mailing (PIM)
Printing, Inserting, and Mailing operations print and mail hundreds of thousands of policyholder premium notices and policy information daily.

State Farm Payment Plan (SFPP)

The State Farm Payment Plan provides flexible billing and payment options for a growing State Farm policyholder base. SFPP employees provide support to agents and policyholders by servicing the monthly billing and payment plan.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Responding verbally and in writing to inquiries from policyholders, agents, stakeholders, and various State Farm departments
  • Performing routine and complex account maintenance for State Farm Payment Plan accounts
