Marketing

The goal of the Marketing Department is to help State Farm grow by developing and implementing world-class marketing plans.

We accomplish this through the selection and continuous development of high quality, customer-focused employees who strive to understand customer needs and meet those needs with the right products at the right time.

We are committed to the professional development of employees and to promoting diversity and inclusion at all levels.

Our work includes:

  • Developing and implementing marketing plans, materials, and advertising to support the business goals of the Company, our operations centers, and State Farm agents
  • Working closely with agents, field leadership, Zone marketing managers, product lines, and other Corporate departments to aid in the development of marketing plans that integrate and align at all levels
  • Creating strategies, marketing programs, and advertising designed to cross-sell to existing customers and to attract new customers
  • Representing the “voice of the customer” and identifying the needs of different customer segments

In addition, the Marketing Department serves as the steward of the State Farm brand. We help represent State Farm’s added value to the customer and the “Good Neighbor” promise that differentiates our brand in the marketplace.
