There are several levels within the IT Architect career path. You have the ability to build and guide teams to deliver a given scope of architecture. You mentor other IT Architects. You lead the most complex and challenging architecture assignments with broad Enterprise impact. The breadth of your work is far-reaching.

As a State Farm IT Architect you:

• Plan, create, maintain, and ensure integration for Enterprise architecture
• Collaborate, negotiate, and influence direction and decision making in order to enable the delivery of quality solutions
• Serve as a key decision maker and escalation point for approving architectural decisions within the scope of assignments
• Ensure State Farm has a clear understanding of industry direction in relation to architecture and technology, and ensure integration of that direction as appropriate
• Mentor others to ensure technical skills are in place to meet technical leadership-related resource requirements in the future
• Focus on increasing depth and breadth of architecture knowledge and skills on a continual basis
