Our two major Operations Centers are located in Tulsa, OK and Columbia, MO.  Tulsa is nestled in the northeastern quadrant of Oklahoma, right in the heart of "Green Country”.  Tulsa boasts a widely diversified business base, including aerospace, telecommunications, manufacturing, construction, high technology, healthcare, education, transportation and energy.  Tulsa has been recognized as one of "America's Most Livable Communities”.  Columbia offers small-town friendliness with big city features and a high quality of life for people of all ages and interests. Columbia is a great place to live due to an excellent school system, outstanding health care, abundant entertainment, low cost of living, a clean environment, and much more.  Columbia is consistently recognized by Money magazine as one of the top places in America to live, and in 1999, was voted runner-up for “Best Small City in America”.  Both operations centers in Tulsa and Columbia house a large workforce made up of Claims, Underwriting, Human Resources, Public Affairs, Marketing, Learning and Development, and Administrative Services, just to name a few.  Entry-level positions are most commonly available in Claims and Underwriting; however, State Farm is a promote-from-within company, so opportunities abound for our employees.  Additional State Farm offices located throughout the Central Zone are St. Louis, MO; Kansas City, MO; Little Rock, AR; Baton Rouge, LA; and New Orleans, LA.
