From Mt. Rushmore to the Mall of America, the Heartland Zone typifies everything from quintessential rural America to urban city life. State Farm’s Lincoln Operations Center in Lincoln, NE, serves as headquarters for the company’s six-state zone, serving customers in Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Employment opportunities include positions in auto and fire claims, underwriting, and a variety of general departments. State Farm’s centralized Farm/Ranch department is located in the Lincoln Operations Center, underwriting all farm/ranch policies for the entire company.  More than 1,400 employees staff the Lincoln Operations Center. Lincoln is renowned for its extensive biking trails, college sports and small-town feel. 

An additional 1,300 employees work in operations centers and offices throughout the zone.

The Twin Cities Operation Center, staffed by nearly 400 employees, is located between Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN. The area features many lakes, a clean environment, a diverse and friendly population, and a high quality of life. Minnesota may be known for its cold winters, but every season is full of life.

The Milwaukee Operations Center, staffed by 130 employees, is located in Brookfield, WI, just 20 miles west of downtown Milwaukee. From summer concerts on the lakefront to countless festivals and fairs—or the frigid polar bear plunge—Milwaukee offers year-round fun for all.

Located in the heart of Iowa, Des Moines is the capitol of Iowa. Approximately 80 State Farm employees staff the Des Moines Operation Center. Des Moines, known for excellent schools and short commute times, features big city living with a low cost of living.

More than 100 employees staff the Omaha Operations Center in Omaha, NE. Omaha offers a variety of cultural experiences from the Historic Hay Market to the Henry Doorly Zoo, ranked as one of the best in the country.
