The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC)
By providing capital, technical expertise, training and information, LISC supports the development of local leadership and the creation of affordable housing, commercial, industrial and community facilities, businesses and jobs. The State Farm - LISC Partnership is proud to provide grants and loans to sustain their innovative economic development programs.  In addition to providing financial support, State Farm associates join LISC Local Advisory Boards to contribute on a personal level.  Our Partnership Report showcases several of LISC’s successful projects.

  2. 1,197 businesses attracted, expanded or retained
  3. 11,849 jobs created or retained
  4. 3.48 million square feet of commercial, retail and community facilities developed
  1. 27,144 community residents engaged in volunteer activities
  2. 690 storefront and facade renovations
  3. 3,790 students served by service-learning and other education programs
  4. 350 community-based organizations supported
