Hispanic Trends Magazine Recognizes State Farm® As One of Top 50 Corporations for Supplier Diversity
BLOOMINGTON, IL, FEBRUARY 25, 2008 -- For the third consecutive year, State Farm has been named one of the nation’s top 50 corporations for supplier diversity by offering minority business owners wide-ranging supplier opportunities.
The Top 50 list is published in the February issue of Hispanic Magazine and at: www.HispanicTrends.com.
Hispanic Trends’ “Top 50 Corporations for Supplier Diversity” list reads like a virtual “who’s who” of America’s most recognized brands. Among those brands, State Farm has purposefully and diligently sought to deal with the nation’s increasingly diverse supplier base.
“State Farm has worked to build its supplier base to reflect the diverse customers we serve,” said Lon Bradle, Assistant Vice President – Administrative Services at State Farm. “Including quality diverse suppliers helps us meet our customers’ needs and is just good business.”
The list is drawn from State Farm’s work with Hispanic organizations, diversity training, minority business initiatives, recruitment efforts and philanthropic funding that helps Hispanics and minority leader representation.
