National Board for Professional Teaching Standards®
State Farm® and the State Farm Companies Foundation are committed to supporting quality teaching in America's schools.
National Board Certification is a symbol of teaching excellence that is achieved through a rigorous performance-based assessment that takes nearly a year to complete. Currently, there are over 55,000 National Board Certified Teachers improving student learning every day in our nation's schools.
State Farm Companies Foundation and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS)® have a long-standing partnership that supports teachers across the country who participate in the National Board Certification process.
In addition to various forms of in-kind support State Farm and the State Farm Companies Foundation have committed more than $5 million toward quality teaching in America's schools through the Partners in a Learning Community program with the NBPTS.
Teachers interested in finding out more about State Farm Foundation's support of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards should e-mail us.
