State Farm Insurance wants to remind California residents that preparing for the next major disaster is essential to survival and recovery.
Whatever the disaster, earthquake, wildfire, flood, health epidemic or man-made threat, developing a family disaster plan and survival kit will increase your odds of survival
As the nation’s leading insurer of autos and homes, we believe we play an important role in educating residents on how to protect themselves and their property from damage caused by natural disasters
If a disaster struck today, would you and your family be ready? Surviving and recovering from a major disaster will depend in large part on being prepared. Recent earthquakes act as reminders to Californians that a disaster can strike anywhere at any time.
No matter where you are when a disaster hits, you must have the plans and tools in place to make it on your own for a minimum of three to seven days. Preparing for the unexpected makes sense. To help you, State Farm offers the following Disaster Preparedness Tips:
Disaster Preparedness Tips
Preparedness works best in advance, not after a disaster
