National Merit $2500 Scholarship

National Merit $2500 Scholarships are one-time, nonrenewable awards of $2,500 made to high school seniors who qualify as top finalists in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation chooses scholars based on PSAT/NMSQT scores and other criteria.

National Merit Achievement Scholarship

State Farm Companies Foundation sponsors 20 Achievement Scholarships annually. Achievement Scholarships are awarded to African-American high school seniors selected by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation based on:

  • PSAT/NMSQT scores
  • Academic distinction
  • Personal achievement
  • Leadership abilities

Achievement Scholars are awarded one-time, nonrenewable $2,500 scholarships toward full-time study at an accredited U.S. college or university.
