2005 Good Neighbor Citizenship® Results

Through the Good Neighbor Citizenship (GNC) program, State Farm® commits resources to help build safe, strong, and better educated communities.

The GNC program includes the State Farm Companies Foundation giving, Mutual Company giving, and volunteerism. In 2005, t he Foundation’s giving was primarily committed to education, helping to raise the level of student achievement through national initiatives in our elementary and secondary schools, as well as supporting key higher education initiatives. The Company’s giving focus was geared towards organizations and programs that help improve auto and home safety, prepare for and recover from natural disasters, and revitalize neighborhoods. The GNC program also supports charitable organizations and programs that fall outside the primary focus areas but are important to our communities and associates.
