State Farm Companies Foundation Good Neighbor Grant Program
Do you volunteer 40 or more hours in a calendar year to a nonprofit organization?
Through the Good Neighbor Grant Program, the State Farm Companies Foundation awards a $500 grant on behalf of each eligible State Farm® associate (active employee, agent, or retiree) who volunteered a minimum of 40 hours per calendar year to an eligible nonprofit organization. For more program information including eligibility requirements and the link to the application*, visit www.easymatch.com/statefarm.
Note: Effective with volunteer hours in 2012, “eligible nonprofit organizations” include volunteer fire departments that are exempt from taxation under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(4).
Good Neighbor Grant deadline: March 31 is the deadline to submit a Good Neighbor Grant application for volunteer services completed in 2011.
State Farm Companies Foundation Matching Gift Program
Do you make charitable contributions to a qualified two or four-year college or university?
The State Farm Companies Foundation Matching Gift Program encourages eligible State Farm associates (active employees, agents, or retirees) to support higher education. The Foundation will match eligible donors’ charitable contributions (tax deductible portion) to qualified two- and four-year U.S. colleges and universities and Canadian universities. Gifts can be a minimum of $25 and up to a maximum of $3,000 per calendar year. For more program information including eligibility requirements and the link to the application*, visit www.easymatch.com/statefarm.
Matching Gift deadline: Matching Gift requests must be received by the Foundation within one year of the eligible donor’s contribution.
*Eligible State Farm associates are encouraged to submit their application through the online process. This allows associates to verify the application has been received by the Foundation, as well as monitor the status of their Good Neighbor Grant or Matching Gift.
The State Farm Companies Foundation reserves the right to discontinue or change its programs at any time without notice and reserves the right, in its discretion, to decide whether a grant will be made.
