Vincent J. Trosino Retires After 44 Years of Service
Vincent J. Trosino, President, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Chairman's Council, will retire December 31, 2006 after celebrating 44 years with the Company.
Vince started his career in 1962 as a trainee in the old Pennsylvania regional office. After several promotions and assignments in Corporate and Southern California, he was elected regional vice president of the Northeastern Region in 1981. Vince was named a vice president in 1986 and was subsequently elected executive vice president of State Farm Mutual in 1987, its chief operating officer in 1991, vice chairman in 1994 and its president in 1998.
Vince and his wife, Pat, have many plans for their retirement. They'll enjoy time in Florida and New Jersey and as you might imagine, much of their time also will be spent with their children and grandchildren. Their daughter, Laura and her husband Allan, live in Hawaii. Their son, Vince Jr. and his wife Elaine, live in Pennsylvania with their children, Deanna, Cassandra and Matthew. Their daughter, Valerie and her husband Conrad, live in Tennessee with their children Nicholas and Ryker.

A reception honoring Vince will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, in the Corporate Conference Center. There will be a brief presentation at 2:00 p.m. during the reception.
