State Farm® The Modern Era
Donating time can be just as powerful as writing a check.
The Good Neighbor Grant Program introduced in 2000 does both. When a State Farm associate volunteers 40 or more hours in a year to an eligible, nonprofit organization, a $500 Good Neighbor Grant can be awarded.
In 2000, we launched State Farm Bank®. Not a traditional "bricks and mortar" operation; products and services are available through Bank-certified agents, online, by phone, through our Bank Response Center, or through the mail.

Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Wilma, and Dennis all made landfall on the Gulf Coast in the summer of 2005. Our work continues today to help our customers recover from the effects of these devastating storms. For the latest information, visit 2005 Hurricane Response.
A new Toronto-area operations centre opened its doors in 2006. The new Aurora facility helps us serve Canadian customers in Alberta, New Brunswick, and Ontario.

State Farm made high-octane history in 2006 by being the first property and casualty insurer ever to help promote a major feature film — the Disney/Pixar animated feature film, CARS.
State Farm was among the "40 Best Companies for Diversity" and "15 Best in Marketing Diversity" in Black Enterprise Magazine's 2007 rankings.
