The 4th Annual Fall Family Festival was held in Old Town La Quinta on Saturday, November 13. A large number of people attended this family-focused event on what turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day.

With a number of families with young children attending, the State Farm sponsored petting zoo was very popular! The pony rides came in a close second with the face painting rounding out the top three. There were youth groups performing for the crowd, along with martial arts demonstrations. With the food being plentiful, it was a great way to bring the community together for some family-focused fun.

“I enjoyed seeing the delight in the children’s’ eyes when they saw the Good Neigh Bear,” said State Farm Agent Cindy Pieper. “We were there to remind people that State Farm truly is part of the community. It was great to share information with these families about the many products and services we provide.”

In addition to the sponsorship local State Farm associates participated as vendors, including State Farm Agents Cindy Pieper, John Ford, and Carmen Contreras, along with team members from Agents George Stettler, Phil Goodge, Peggy Ames and Frank Miller’s offices. The Palm Springs Agency Field Office was represented by Agency Field Specialist April Faust.

“The attendees were truly interested in learning what the area businesses had to offer,” said Ford. “It was a great experience talking to these families that were interested in knowing more about what State Farm could do for them.”
