State Farm Celebrates Sacramento Communities

On October 1, State Farm participated in the Celebrate Sacramento Festival in South Sacramento, reaffirming the link between community, outreach, and relationship-building with our elected officials.

Sponsored by Assemblymember Roger Dickinson, Celebrate Sacramento is a festival that unites members of the diverse Sacramento community. It was promoted as an “opportunity for families, businesses, clubs, community organizations, and neighborhood associations to come together to celebrate the richness of the Sacramento community.”

State Farm Agents Sig Lindley and Barbara Etrick participated in the festival that brought thousands of residents out to celebrate their community. The State Farm tents had activities from basketball hoops to spinning wheels as a way to allow the community to get to know these agents.

“We had a great time at this event,” Etrick said. “As a new agent, it’s important to get out in the community, meet and learn about our local residents, and let them get to know you.”
