In August of this year, La Habra California celebrated their 63rd Annual Corn Festival and Parade. State Farm was honored to participate in the community’s longest running celebration. This landmark event is a long held tradition for this northern Orange County Community and features a cultural mix of everything the city has to offer from high school marching bands, to the local Shriners and charros (Mexican cowboys). It was a hot summer day, but that didn’t deter the parade goers or dampen the enthusiasm of the Good Neigh Bear as it brought smiles to kids along the parade route.

State Farm Agents Bruce Bender and Randy Schauer brought their team members and families to the festival, participating in the parade and helping to staff the State Farm booth. With support from Agency Field Executive Ellen Williams of the Brea Agency Field Office, State Farm continued the effort to be involved in the communities where we live and work.

With an estimated 30,000 people in attendance and more than 14,000 ears of corn devoured by attendees, State Farm was in good company. Supporting local events such as the Corn Festival provides an opportunity to show the community how much we appreciate their business. State Farm is committed to the community of La Habra and to honoring their traditions.
