CHOC and State Farm Keeping Kids Safe in Santa Ana

A certified safety seat inspector and community policing officer from Irvine’s Police Department teaches parents about correctly installing infant car seats in their car at State Farm / CHOC child safety inspection day.

State Farm and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) are continuing their partnership to support the hospital’s Community Education Department.

Part of that support involves working with CHOC on Child Safety Days (CSD) that focus on checking child safety seats and ensuring that they are used correctly. This December 4 marked the third year of the partnership in Orange County. Grants from State Farm are helping support CHOC, which has a year round program for inspections and education.
