Giving Back to Children in San Diego

In order to help some of San Diego’s County’s less fortunate children have a brighter holiday season, San Diego area State Farm agents and employees again participated in the U.S. Marine Corp’s annual Toys for Tots holiday toy drive.

This year, 56 State Farm agents throughout San Diego County opened up their offices and acted as community drop off locations collecting an estimated 2,000 to 2,500 toys. State Farm claims employees were also involved by coordinating the substantial task of picking up and delivering of all of the State Farm collected toys to the U.S. Marines. All collected toys will be distributed by the U.S. Marine Corp to children in need throughout San Diego County this holiday season.

This is the fourth consecutive year State Farm has participated in the Toys for Tots holiday toy drive. During this time of economic challenges, thank you to everyone who has opened their hearts to give to others who are less fortunate.
