State Farm was once again a corporate sponsor of the 34th annual California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce convention, held August 10-12 in San Jose. The convention is the largest gathering of its kind for California's Hispanic business leaders. With a network of over 65 Hispanic chamber and business associations, the CHCC represents the interests of more than 700,000 Hispanic businesses in California.

Sixteen State Farm associates participated in the event, including recruiters who manned a business expo booth sharing the State Farm Agency opportunity with interested attendees.

The convention provided a great opportunity for networking and a chance to be a part of numerous educational and skill-building workshops covering topics from state government to increasing market share through social media.

State Farm’s presence at this event reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to recruiting top-notch agents and employees, supporting supplier diversity and the small business community while engaging our elected officials on critical business issues impacting California.

“I was privileged to take part in this year’s convention, and I was excited about the event being hosted right here in the heart of the Silicon Valley,” Agent Alexandra Anderson said. “To the average small-business owner, this event provided a wealth of resources and discussion topics tied to business growth and expansion. This was a great opportunity for Hispanic small business owners to get educated, get connected, get involved, and be there for one another.”
