Good Neighbors? No ...Great Neighbors

Illinois, June, 2010 - At State Farm, we pride ourselves on being the Good Neighbor people. Rob and Amy Castaneda have taken things to a whole new level.

After refusing to let a gang run them out of their new home in Little Village (a neighborhood on the west side of Chicago), they started a not-for-profit organization named Beyond the Ball. The mission of their organization is to harness the power of sport to help people transform their community. And that's where State Farm comes in.

Through our partnership with LISC, State Farm provides grant funding to sports-based community development initiatives in Chicago. After seeing the support State Farm provides to local communities, Rob and Amy decided to join the State Farm family.

And that is what State Farm is all about … helping Good Neighbors become Great Neighbors … and, ultimately, making a difference in the communities where we live and work.
