State Farm® Yuma Agents Keep It Local

For the third straight year a generous contribution from State Farm Yuma County Agents made it possible for a dozen schools to gather locally for a track and field event without leaving the comfort of home.

The State Farm Cibola Scorcher Invitational Track Meet allows kids to participate in the event with certified officials and electronic timing systems, which are needed for athletes to quality for the state-wide meet later in the season. Typically the athletes travel to Phoenix, Lake Havasu or Tucson to get qualified for the state track meet. Keeping the meet local allows the kids to return home with their families while avoiding travel expenses.
