Snap – A State Farm Agent Appears to Save the Day

Ever find yourself singing or humming the State Farm jingle featured in our commercials? You know the ones with the buffalo or the hot tub where customers sing the jingle and snap--a State Farm agent appears to save the day.

What may seem like fiction to some became a reality for a State Farm customer in Fort Washington, Md. A victim of a car accident, she was standing on the side of road needing help when, snap! her agent, Bill Ball, appeared on the scene to help.

How was this possible?

Turns out Bill and his wife, Verna, were on their way to church when they saw the accident.

Recognizing the car and the driver, who is his customer, Ball pulled over and got out of the car. The woman started laughing and said, “You are just like the State Farm agents in those silly commercials.”

The Balls took the customer back to the agency to begin the claims process. Bill called for a tow truck and even drove the customer to her home to pick up a second car. In spite of the incident, everyone made it to church.
