State Farm Among 48 Employers Recognized for Promoting Healthy Workplaces
Bloomington, IL, May 24, 2011 - The National Business Group on Health, a non-profit association of large U.S. employers, today honored State Farm Insurance Company for its commitment and dedication to promoting a healthy workplace and encouraging their workers and families to support and maintain healthy lifestyles.
State Farm was among 48 U.S. employers that received the 2011 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles award at the Leadership Summit sponsored by the National Business Group on Health’s Institute on Innovation in Workforce Well-being. State Farm received a Platinum Award for its Live Well Be Well Initiative. Last year, State Farm received a Gold Award.
