State Farm® is standing by to take customer calls
Greeley, Colo., August 11, 2011 - State Farm policyholders affected by the Sterling area storm activity are encouraged to report their claims right away, according to State Farm spokesperson Angela Thorpe. To do that, call 1-800-SFCLAIM (800-732-5246) or contact a local State Farm agent. Claims can also be reported online at statefarm.com.
“Our first priority is taking care of our State Farm customers’ needs as quickly as possible,” says Vice President-Operations Troy Turner. To do that, State Farm is rushing in additional claim representatives to assist local personnel working in taking care of customers’ claims.
Damage to vehicles includes broken windshields and body damage caused by hail and flying debris; homes affected by the storm are reporting roof damage, broken windows, damage to siding, outside decks and fencing.
Personal safety is paramount. When it is safe to do so, make temporary repairs to prevent further damage. Save receipts if you purchase items such as tape and plywood or other supplies to make repairs.
