April 18, 2011As of Monday afternoon, State Farm® is reporting over 3,200 claims in North Carolina and more than 450 claims in the Gloucester area of Virginia from the weekend storms.
As part of the industry's largest catastrophe response team, State Farm claim representatives have been in the affected areas since Sunday inspecting damage, assisting agents, and taking care of customers. Storm damage victims are encouraged to make temporary repairs to prevent further damage and to save their receipts.
State Farm customers are asked to call their agent or 1-(800)-SF-CLAIM (1-800-732-5246) to report damage. They can also visit www.statefarm.com.
