State Farm® Adds Temporary Inspection Facility to Handle Auto Claims

Newark, OH, May 30, 2011 - State Farm, the largest insurer of homes and autos in Ohio and the nation, has added a temporary inspection facility in Dayton, Ohio to handle the growing number of auto claims received from last week's severe wind and hail storms.

As of today, State Farm has received more than 4,000 auto claims with the majority of them originating in the Dayton area.

State Farm policyholders can schedule an appointment for an inspection of the damage to their vehicle at a Mobile Catastrophe Facility in the parking lot of Cub Foods at 6134 Wilmington Pike, Dayton OH 45459.

This conveniently located facility will operate on a scheduled appointment basis only. To schedule an appointment, or if a vehicle is not drivable, State Farm policyholders should call 1-800-SF Claim (1-800-732-5246). "We are working to take care of our customers' needs as quickly as possible. We are seeing our most severe losses first and will continuing seeing losses until every claim has been addressed," said spokesman Blake Zitko.
