Event Will Benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia
Suwanee, GA- June 15, 2011 - State Farm®, a national sponsor of the Collegiate Player's Tour, is proud to announce that the CPT will make a stop at the Laurel Springs Golf Club, 6400 Golf Club Drive, Suwanee, GA 30024. The fundraising portion of the tournament starts Monday June 20th at 9AM (College-Am event). On this day some of the best college golfers in the country, along with State Farm associates, will hit the greens for a charitable fundraiser to raise money for United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia. The collegiate competition takes place June 21st and 22nd.
United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia provides support for individuals with disabilities and their families. Cerebral Palsy is a condition which affects body movement and muscle coordination. State Farm, Georgia's largest home and auto insurer, continues to support Atlanta area organizations while many companies are forced to cut back on corporate philanthropy because of the weakened economy.
This event is free for public viewing. Supporters of United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia are invited to watch the tournament and can provide a donation to the organization during the event. United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia is a nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.

The Collegiate Players Tour, starting its 18th year, is designed to provide summer golf competition for college aged men and women. Every effort is made to make the competition affordable, convenient, and above all, fun for the competitors. The CPT is sanctioned by both college golf associations, (men) Golf Coaches Association of America, and (women) National Golf Coaches Association, and the USGA.
