State Farm Insurance® will work with other partners in the nationwide ya es hora ¡Ciudadanía! Campaign to provide direct assistance with the naturalization process
Panorama City, CA – State Farm Insurance in collaboration with NALEO (National Association of Latino Elected Officials), will conduct a U.S. citizenship workshop on Saturday, February 19, 2011 as part of the ya es hora ¡Ciudadanía! Campaign to assist eligible legal permanent residents apply for U.S. citizenship and encourage them to become full participants in the American political process.
There are 2.3 million legal permanent residents eligible to become U.S. citizens across California. This workshop will help those in the Los Angeles region with their naturalization process by providing N-400 application assistance, passport photos, free application consultation from volunteer attorneys, and study materials to prepare for the naturalization interview.
“Immigrants are an integral part of American society, and by pursuing naturalization, they are showing their deep and profound commitment to our nation,” said Agency Field Executive Terry Gordon. “As U.S. citizens, immigrants can fully participate in the political process, and play a vital role in determining the future of their family, community, and country.”
