October 25, 2012 WHAT: Preventing Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y) has received a Good Neighbor Grant from State Farm Insurance in the amount of $15,000. With an emphasis on promoting injury prevention through reality education, P.A.R.T.Y collaborates with a number of community partners to provide youth with powerful educational experiences to help youth recognize risk and make smart choices.
A check presentation is scheduled for Friday, October 26th at Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Roseville. The presentation will occur during a crash car educational event. The event will include medical personnel, local police officers, Roseville High School students, a key note speaker, and a panel discussion with brain injury survivors.
