Nov. 26, 2012— State Farm associates are joining forces with local non-profits and community partners to make a difference this holiday season by supporting a variety of donation drives across Florida. State Farm agents and employees are spreading good cheer by donating food, canned goods and new toys for those in need this holiday season. Other associates also are helping by giving blood during local State Farm blood drives this holiday season.
Additionally, South Florida community members also have the chance to give by dropping off donated new, unwrapped toys/gifts from Nov. 26 to Dec. 10 at local State Farm agent offices in Miami–Dade County. South Florida State Farm agents are opening their offices to serve as drop-off locations for donated toys in an effort to help make the holidays happier for many children.
“In these tough economic times, many less fortunate families need our help. Please help us meet the challenge of providing joy and hope to thousands of children and families in our community,” said Jose Soto, State Farm Community Specialist in South Florida. “Every gift donated will be greatly appreciated.”
