Media Advisory – State Farm Continues Efforts in Response to Little Bear Fire (NM)

Ruidoso, New Mexico, June 13, 2012 - State Farm agents, team members, and local claim representatives are assisting our customers with damage caused by the Little Bear fire affecting New Mexico. At this time, our customers have begun reporting their claims. As of today we have received 31 homeowner's claims as a result of damage from the fire- with a large number of those being potential total losses. These claim numbers remain fluid and may change as policy holders are able to access and inspect their properties.

Our first priority remains the safety and well-being of those impacted by this fire. We urge our customers to fully cooperate with fire personnel and first responders in the area. Once it is safe to do so, customers should inspect their homes or businesses and work with their agent and claim representative to help them through the claims process.
