The Manchester Neighborhood Housing Services aka NeighborWorks of Greater Manchester recently hosted a block party with their neighbors in Nashua. The party signified their commitment to build in the Nashua community. Mayor Donna Lee Lozeau welcomed the group and applauded the work of NeighborWorks.
Local State Farm agent Sandy Dodd was on hand to show State Farm's continued support for the great work of the organization. State Farm has supported NeighborWorks since 2004 and the latest grant in the amount of $25,000 will help them expand their work into the Nashua community.
The block party, held at the Los Amigos Park was attended by local dignitaries and community partners.
As he accepted the grant, Executive Director Robert Tourigny, expressed his gratitude to State Farm for their on-going support.
State Farm supports many local Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country. Our partnership Habitat for Humanity International spans several projects, including local youth and college chapters who raise funds for their Habitat chapter.
