Media Advisory – Ponderosa Fire

Redding, CA., August 20, 2012 - As the Ponderosa Fire continues to grow and more homes are threatened, State Farm Insurance wants to remind area residents there are important things that can be done now in response to this wildfire. Claim representatives and agents are ready to address every customers’ need.
“We understand the uncertainty of the fire is weighing heavily on our customers and that is why we remain available to them, answering their questions in their time of need,” said State Farm spokesman Sevag Sarkissian. “We recommend if you’ve been evacuated, contact us as soon as you can, let us know that you’re safe and hold on to receipts for expenses you may be incurring as a result of the fire.”

If you have not been evacuated but your home could become threatened: Time is of the essence.

These simple steps take just a little time to complete and provide valuable time for fire fighters to do all they can to protect your property.
