Local winner earns $18,000 donation for American Red Cross and a VIP trip to 2012 MLB World Series
Quakertown, PA (August 21, 2012) - State Farm and Major League Baseball (MLB) today announced Nicole Donnelly of Quakertown is the fourth, and latest, weekly winner in the State Farm Go to - at program - an online, charitable giving initiative driven by the commitment State Farm makes to helping communities "get to a better state®."
As a winner, Donnelly earned a donation of $18,000 for the American Red Cross, one of four national charities benefitting from 10 weekly $18,000 donations as fans across the nation Go to Bat for their causes. Not only did Donnelly do something good for a worthy charity, she also won a VIP trip for two to a game of the 2012 MLB World Series. While there, Donnelly will participate in an on-field ceremony showcasing the collective impact of the Go to Bat program.
