Today State's Largest Insurer Reports Several Thousand Claims
Denver, Colo., June 7, 2012 - As of Friday afternoon, State Farm® had received almost 1,700 homeowners claims and more than 2,500 automobile claims for the areas effected by the severe weather events stemming from June 6 - 8.
The company has brought in additional resources to assist their customers with their claims and will be setting up drive-in locations across the state supporting their auto operations.
Claims continue to pour in from customers who are reporting primarily damage related to hail and wind.
State Farm customers are asked to call their agent or 1-(800)-SF-CLAIM (1-800-732-5246) in order to report damage. They can also visit www.statefarm.com.
After filing a claim customers are encouraged to use the Online Claims Status Tool as answers to many of the most pertinent claims questions can be found there. Policyholders can Check the Status of Their Claim online by enabling their policies at statefarm.com®.
