State Farm Response to Damage from Isaac

Information on Filing Claims and Making Repairs

Baton Rouge, LA, August 30, 2012 - State Farm®, Louisiana's largest home and auto insurer, is there for our customers following Hurricane Isaac. Our hearts go out to the people whose lives have been affected by the storm and our greatest concern is for the safety of everyone in the affected areas. State Farm's first priority is taking care of our customers' needs as quickly as possible.

State Farm's Louisiana spokesperson, Gary Stephenson, said, “We have been staging and planning our claims response for several days. We are eager to get into the field and begin the recovery response. We will be working 7 days a week for the foreseeable future, to help our customers recover.”

Catastrophe claim representatives are now being mobilized into impacted areas, where accessible, to assist our customers' recovery. Additionally, State Farm agents, agent's staff and local employees are also helping customers file claims and begin the recovery from this storm.

State Farm customers who suffer damage from this storm should contact their State Farm agent to begin the claim process. However, some agent offices are without power at the current time. Customers can also call 1-800-SFCLAIM (1-800-732-5246) or go to: www.statefarm.com to report their claim and begin the recovery process.

State Farm customers who have reported a loss can expect to be contacted by a claim representative who will review your policy and explain your coverage, outline the claim process and answer questions.
