State Farm is looking to spread the warmth in Delaware this winter by supporting Operation Warm, a non-profit organization that provides new winter coats to children in need. State Farm recently announced Operation Warm will receive a $2,500 grant to support its mission to ensure that children in the area have a warm coat this winter.
"State Farm is happy to support Operation Warm this year and help provide warm coats to children in Delaware. As we approach this season of giving, it's important that we come together and support the communities where are agents live and work and the causes near and dear to their heart," said State Farm Community Specialist Erin Bailey.
Additionally, agents in New Castle County, Delaware, are hosting a coat drive and hoping to collect 200 new coats to donate to Operation Warm. Members of the community are welcome to partake in the coat drive by dropping off new coats at participating agent offices by Friday, December 14. Coats should be size 4T through adult small and include original tags. Participating drop-off locations include:

Operation Warm provides new winter coats to children in need through strategic and community partnerships with a wide variety of donors and community organizations around the country. Its vision is that every child wearing a new winter coat will be healthy, able to attend school regularly and will develop strong self-esteem. Last year, Operation Warm served its one-millionth child, making it one of the largest donors of new coats in the country.
