Money Management International Receives Grant to Help with Financial Literacy Training

Washington, NJ (February 2013) Being a displaced homemaker has many challenges, but Money Management International (MMI) and NORWESCAP are committed to providing assistance to the homemakers. Through a grant from State Farm, they will be able to provide workshops on homeownership. Assemblyman Erik Peterson was on hand recently to show his support at workshops held recently.
Maura Attardi, Education & Community Relations Director stated, MMIs vision is to empower individuals to make sound financial decisions that will allow them to achieve their personal financial goals and create stable financial futures.
Through the agencys decades of experience, MMI has perfected teaching methods to reach every segment of the population, produced materials that are easy to understand, and developed techniques that make implementing newly acquired financial skills easier.
State Farm Agent Debbie Weiss, in attendance at the February workshops makes it her mission to assist those seeking information on their financial future, and is committed to being a resource for the community.
These workshops are hosted across New Jersey by Money Management International, and State Farm has been a partner since 2010.
