State Farm Bank recently awarded the New Generations Youth Soccer Organization a $5,000 planning grant to expand soccer activities for at-risk youth, at no-cost, in the Bloomington-Normal communities.

The grant will help Twin City youth who receive free or reduced school lunches participate in the NGYSO soccer programs at no cost.

NGYSO consists of the Cedar Ridge Youth Soccer League and the West Side Soccer League. The group partners with the Boy Scouts of America, YMCA, West Bloomington Revitalization Project, Western Avenue Community Center and is supported by other organizations such as 100BlackMen.
