Customers with Damage Should Contact Their Agent to File a Claim
June 14, 2013 State Farm® is helping customers affected by the storms that came through the region last night. State Farms priority is making sure everyone is safe and taking care of our customers needs as quickly as possible.
State Farm is setting up claims hubs in impacted areas to help process claims, said State Farm Spokesperson Anna Bryant. Our adjustors are out and about evaluating damage and getting our policyholders checks to help with repairs and cleanup.
Once it is safe to do so, customers should call their State Farm Agent to report claims. If you cant reach your State Farm Agent, you can also report your claim on StateFarm.com or report your automobile claim on your mobile phone using the Pocket Agent® app.
If possible, make reasonable temporary repairs to protect your property from further damage:
If you have a covered loss, these repairs may be reimbursed. Save receipts if you purchase items such as tarps and plywood or other supplies to make repairs.
