Junior Achievement Receives $10,000 State Farm® Grant for NWA Program

State Farm officials have presented a $10,000 grant to Junior Achievement of Arkansas to assist with their work in work-readiness and financial literacy programs at George Junior High School in Springdale. Grant funds will assist in the school's efforts to extend its education efforts beyond the classroom and into the homes of many of its students, and particularly in the Hispanic community of northwest Arkansas.

A new study by State Farm shows very few drivers have basic emergency items in their vehicle, thus potentially placing themselves, and possibly their family's safety in jeopardy.
