Here’s all you’ll need

Mobile Requirements

  • One of the following devices with State Farm Pocket Agent® installed:
    • iPhone with iOS 5.0 or newer
    • Android phone/tablet with Operating System 2.3 or newer
    • iPad 3rd Generation or newer
    • iPod Touch 5th Generation or newer
  • Registered statefarm.com® account
  • A State Farm Bank Deposit Account
    (Savings, Checking, Interest Checking, Money Market Savings)
  • If the above requirements are met, this functionality is available by logging into your account within State Farm Pocket Agent, selecting “Bank” from the menu options, and clicking on Make Deposit.2

Scanner Requirements

  • A personal scanning device, which is TWAIN compliant
  • Registered statefarm.com® account
  • A State Farm Bank Deposit Account
    (Savings, Checking, Interest Checking, Money Market Savings)
  • If the above requirements are met, this functionality is available by logging into your account on statefarm.com and clicking on Deposit a Check Online.3

Make sure to do the following for best results

Mobile Requirements

  • The image must contain a readable, check number, endorsement, and payee name
  • Hold your phone horizontally over the check
  • Position the check within the red camera guides
  • Take the picture in good light
  • Keep your phone as steady as possible when taking the picture
  • The image must contain a readable MICR line at the bottom of the check.
  • The image must contain a readable Character (numeric) Amount of the Check and Legal Amount of the Check
  • Important: To ensure your privacy and security, please follow endorsement guidelines.

Scanner Requirements

  • The image must contain a readable, check number, endorsement, and payee name
