Q. Who do I call if I have questions?
A. If you have questions about switching your account to State Farm Bank®, Online Banking or Online Bill Payment, please call 1-877-SF4-BANK (1-877-734-2265).

Q. What is Direct Deposit?
A. Direct deposit is a quick, easy and secure method of directing deposits such as your paycheck, governmental benefits, and investment dividends, into your account.  Your funds are deposited electronically into your bank account.

Q. How do I set up a new direct deposit?
A. Request the necessary form(s) from your employer or use our convenient Direct Deposit form (Adobe Acrobat® Reader required). You may need your new State Farm Bank account number, the State Farm Bank ABA routing/transit number (071174431) and a voided State Farm Bank check.

Q. When will my direct deposits start?
A. Check with your employer. Generally, it takes 2 pay periods to establish a direct deposit with an employer. 

Q. When will my direct deposit be available?
A. Electronic direct deposits will be available on the effective date of the deposit. You may verify your direct deposit set up or transfer by reviewing your online bank account or calling 1-877-SF4-BANK (1-877-734-2265).

Q. What is an automatic payment?
A. Automatic payment is a convenient way of paying various types of bills electronically such as telephone, electric, credit card, insurance, etc. You provide the names and account information of billers to whom you wish to pay. You authorize the payment amount and direct any payment instructions.

Q. How do I make an automatic payment?
A. It’s easy. Contact your biller directly and complete our easy Request for Transfer of Automatic Payments Form (Adobe Acrobat Reader required).

Q. When will my automatic payment begin?
A. This varies from biller to biller and generally may take up to 2 billing cycles or 30-60 days to establish an automatic payment.  While your automatic payment feature is being activated, please plan any interim payments accordingly as it is your responsibility to keep your accounts current.
