Alert: State Farm Bank Customers are receiving false "urgent email notifications" regarding their account with State Farm. They are being requested to access a link to gain access to their message. State Farm Bank® and State Farm Insurance® customers are receiving emails requesting they respond by clicking on a "secured" link to retrieve an urgent message regarding their account. The email is not associated with State Farm Bank®. This scam was designed to duplicate the login process and secured messaging features offered by State Farm Bank®, and entice unsuspecting online customers into revealing personal and account information. Do not click on links listed in unsolicited e-mails requesting personal or confidential/sensitive information. If you question the validity of an email, type the company's known web address directly into the browser address field or contact the company directly for verification.

Do not disclose any personal identity information if requested via an unsolicited phone call or e-mail, including:
State Farm Bank account numbers
Credit card numbers
Personal Identification Numbers (PIN)
Passwords
Social Security Number
If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent State Farm Bank® but you had not solicited the call, please notify your State Farm Agent or contact State Farm at 1-877-734-2265. |
