Alert: Recent Phishing attempts utilizing an email requesting the customer to “Verify Your Account Access Online” in the subject line. (Last updated 09/07/2007)

State Farm customers and non-customers are receiving an email requesting that they verify their account access online by accessing a link. The link is not a State Farm site, but a redirect to a different site. These emails were designed to capture personal information. For your awareness, please do not click on these links as they are not supported by State Farm Insurance® nor State Farm Bank®.

Reminder:

• These emails are sent by customerservice@statefarm.com which is not a State Farm email address.
• Any emails that you receive from State Farm will be notification type emails. They will inform you (the customer) that you have a message in your secure online inbox.

If you receive such emails or notifications that are questionable please report them to your State Farm Agent or contact State Farm at 1-877-734-2265.
