What are my payment options?
AutoPay
- Can be set up using a checking or savings account from any banking institution.
- Can be set up to pay the balance or the minimum payment every month.
- No charge (Quick Remit payments by phone are $10.00).
- No missed Due Dates.
- Hassle free bill paying.
- You can always supplement the autopay with an additional payment.
How to Request AutoPay
- Call State Farm Bank toll-free at
1-877-SF4-VISA (1-877-734-8472). A form will be sent to you for your signature and checking or savings account information.
Quick Remit
- Quick Remit allows you to pay your State Farm Bank® credit card using any checking or savings account.
- You can make a payment over the phone by calling State Farm Bank toll-free at 1-877-SF4-VISA / 1-877-734-8472.
- There is a $10.00 fee for each Quick Remit payment.
- You can also log into your account on statefarm.com® to make a Quick Remit payment.
- Click on your credit card account number.
- Click on the “Pay Bill” tab and enjoy same day processing* at no charge.

*Note: Payments submitted by 5:00 pm ET on a bank business day will be posted to the account the same day. Payments submitted after 5:00 PM ET or on a non-bank business day will be posted to the account the following business day.
Direct Pay
- Direct pay will no longer be used for Credit Card payments effective June 8, 2008. New payments will not be accepted in Direct Pay after this date.
- Quick Remit will be used for online payments to your State Farm Bank® credit card after this date.
- Credit Card payments scheduled in Direct Pay prior to June 8, 2008 will still be processed.
BillPay
- BillPay is an electronic payment setup through statefarm.com.
- BillPay can only be used to make a payment toward your State Farm credit card account if you have a State Farm Bank deposit account.

How do I dispute a charge?

In your letter, please give us the following information:
- Your name and account number
- The dollar amount of the suspected error
- Describe the error and explain, if you can, why you believe there is an error.

How do I access my account online?
Online Access to your Credit Card Account
If the Customer has an existing Customer ID
- Go to statefarm.com and then to the State Farm Bank homepage.
- Click the link to Access Your Account and enter your customer id and password.
- On the Account Summary screen, click the link for Add/Remove my credit card.
- Enter your credit card number and click the submit button.
- You will see the acknowledgment screen. The credit card will be enabled the next business day.
If the Customer does not have an existing Customer ID
- Go to statefarm.com and then to the State Farm Bank homepage.
- Click the link to Access Your Account.
- On the log in screen, click the link for Register Now.
- Select and enter a Customer ID that is memorable and which you will use to log in to statefarm.com (Customer ID must be 5-16 alpha/numeric characters, can use upper or lower case characters and contain no spaces or special characters).
- Enter your personal information on the registration form
- Click on the Continue button
- Review the information on the Go To Equifax screen. Click the Continue button.
- Customer will be asked to answer 2 to 6 verification questions from Equifax. When finished, click the Submit Request button.
- Authentication Initially Fails -- you will be asked for more information to verify your identity. Print the page as instructed, attach the necessary information, and forward the material to the address indicated by fax or postal address. You will not be able to see your credit card on-line until your identity is verified with these documents.
- Authentication Passes -- you will be able to request immediate access by clicking the appropriate button. Click on the 'Access your accounts or credit card' link for credit card access.
- Enter your credit card number and click the submit button.
- You will see the acknowledgment screen. The credit card account will be enabled the next business day.
Once Your Account Is Web-Enabled
You will enjoy the following features:
- List of transactions posted to your account
- Includes the Transaction Date, Posting Date, Reference Number, Description, and Amount
- A summary of your available purchase and cash limits
- Categorize your purchases for tax purposes
- View your previous statements
- Includes your available balance for State Farm Dollars
- By clicking on Contact the Bank, you may:
- Request a Credit Line Increase
- Request to transfer other higher interest balances to your State Farm Visa account
- Dispute a transaction
- Ask a question via email
Additional Information
- Authorized Users may not have online access. Only the Primary and Secondary cardholders may have online access.
- Only transactions made on your State Farm Visa credit card after the account was web-enabled will display online. Previous transactions will not be available for viewing.

Q: I have requested Internet access for my credit card. Why don't I see all of my transactions listed on the summary?
A: You are able to view up to 520 days of credit card transactions from the date your account was Internet enabled to the current date. Transactions that are made previous to Internet enablement or are more than 520 days in the past will not appear on the summary.
Q: What should I do if I want to dispute a charge?

A: Yes, you can download to popular financial software programs like Microsoft Money® and Quicken®. Current version and previous two versions are supported for Quicken as well as Microsoft Money.
State Farm Dollars
Q: What are State Farm Dollars?
A: State Farm Dollars are simply a reward for using the State Farm Platinum Rewards Visa credit card. You will automatically earn State Farm Dollars equal to 1% of the net purchases you make with your credit card. Then you can apply your rewards to the State Farm product(s) of your choice.
Q: How can I redeem my State Farm Dollars?
A: You may redeem State Farm Dollars at any time by calling
1-877-SF4-VISA (1-877-734-8472) once 50 State Farm Dollars have been earned.
- Redeem & apply State Farm Dollars by phone directly to State Farm products.
- Request a check mailed to you, payable to State Farm.
Q. Do State Farm Dollars expire?
A. Yes, effective January 1, 2005, all newly established accounts will have a 5 year expiration date for State Farm Dollars. The Dollars will expire 5 years from the month in which they were originally earned.
Q: After I request a Rewards Check, how long does it take to be processed?
A: The Rewards Check will be processed as soon as you request it. You should expect to receive the Rewards Check within 7 to 10 business days.
Q: Why is my Rewards Check payable to State Farm?
A: To make it easy and convenient for you to apply your Rewards to the State Farm product of your choice. Simply enclose your State Farm Dollars Rewards Check when you make your insurance premium payments, loan payments, investment or deposit.
Q: Can I bring my Rewards Check to my State Farm Agent's office to pay my insurance premiums?
A: Yes. Your Agent will be glad to help you take advantage of this option.
Q: How long do I have to decide what to do with my Rewards Check?
A: Once you request a Rewards Check, you have 120 days to use the check.
Q: Are there other ways to earn State Farm Dollars besides using my State Farm Platinum Rewards Visa credit card?
A: Currently, your State Farm Platinum Rewards Visa credit card is the only State Farm product that earns State Farm Dollars.
Q: Can I cash my State Farm Dollars Rewards Check?
A: No. The Rewards Check must be applied to a State Farm insurance or State Farm Bank financial product. These include insurance premium payments, loan payments, investments or deposits.
Q: Is there a limit on the amount of State Farm Dollars that I can earn?
A: No, there is no limit on the amount of State Farm Dollars you can earn per year.

Q: Why would I want a Good Neighbor card versus the Platinum Rewards card?
A: The Good Neighbor card offers a lower rate and protection features not offered on the Platinum Rewards card. State Farm Dollars do not apply to the Good Neighbor card.
Q: How do I apply for the Good Neighbor card?
A: You can apply for the Good Neighbor card by getting a take-one application from your State Farm agent office; by phone at 1-800-643-4286; or online at statefarm.com. Apply now.
Q: Can I switch from a Platinum Rewards card to a Good Neighbor card?
A: Yes. Contact State Farm Bank at 1-877-SF4-VISA / 1-877-734-8472 and indicate that you want to initiate a product change. Your account will be reviewed and if approved, you will receive your new card(s) with a new account number in the mail in 7-10 business days.
