If your car (or a car it replaced) has been with State Farm for at least three years without a chargeable accident during this period, you will receive a discount on the premiums for Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability including Personal Injury Protection, and Collision Coverages. This discount may increase over time if the policy remains in force and there continue to be no chargeable accidents.
An accident is chargeable if the driver was more than 50% at fault and State Farm paid $750 or more under the Property Damage Liability Coverage and Collision Coverage combined. For a multiple vehicle accident, a Property Damage Liability Coverage payment must have been made for a claim to be considered chargeable.
You may be eligible for a discount for taking a defensive driving course if you meet all of the following criteria:
Are a driver of the vehicle.
Have voluntarily taken and completed within the last three years a Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention Course that has been approved by the Delaware Insurance Department.
A certificate must be presented to State Farm showing the course was successfully completed.
Get a discount up to 5% just for enrolling. This discount is available to customers who agree to share certain driving information and have an eligible vehicle. The discount will be based on the actual usage of your vehicle. The less your vehicle is driven, and in some cases, the safer your vehicle is driven, the more you can save. You could receive a discount up to 50% at future renewals! More Information
